Wednesday 20th & 27th - WEA Course - Natural Birth and Waterbirth Co-presented by Tania Smallwood BMid RM, and Lareen Newman PhD & the principal author of "Better Birth: The Definitive Guide to Childbirth". This course will explain what you can do to maximise your chances of a `natural' birth. It will cover pain and fear issues, non-medical pain relief, how to minimise interventions but ensure a safe birth, and birth options (eg birth after caesarean, homebirth). The course will also cover water birth in detail, including practicalities and safety issues. The course is suitable for those already pregnant or those just thinking about it, and will cover many issues which are not included in regular antenatal classes. Suitable for both women and men.
